We are Redeemer Alliance Church, a church in Orléans, Ottawa that follows Jesus Christ as Lord and joins God in the work that he is doing in our world today. We do this by loving God, loving others, serving our community and the world.

We are a Christ-centred, Spirit-empowered and mission-focused community of believers with a desire to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to our neighbours in Orléans and around the world. As part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA) in Canada we share the beliefs expressed in the Statement of Faith on the CMA website.

Xander DeWinter
Lead Pastor
Xander has served at Redeemer since March 2023. With a passion for spiritual growth, he believes the greatest gift we have to offer others is our own transformation. He loves to invite each person to discover how deeply God loves them and to participate in the Kingdom of God through community, missions, and spiritual disciplines. Married to Mokie, they have six children, and an understandable appreciation for coffee.
Josh Kahle
Associate Pastor
Josh grew up in the Ottawa area. After graduating from Tyndale University in Toronto with a BA In Biblical Studies & Theology, he came back to Ottawa and served as the youth pastor in his home church for 9 years. In January of 2024, he joined Redeemer as our Associate Pastor of Worship and Community Life. Ever since joining the worship team in high school Josh has had a heart to help others worship and follow Jesus in joy-filled authentic ways. Josh enjoys reading, discussing faith/theology, is an avid soccer fan and loves a great cup of coffee. He is married to Stephanie and they have two beautiful daughters.
Zion Tesfaye
Ministry Intern
Zion is our new ministry intern. She is full of Jesus, coffee and deep joy! She currently serves as our Administrator and Children’s Director while working closely with the youth! She cares about community and connecting others to finding freedom and hope in The Lord! Zion loves to encourage and radiate the joy of The Lord wherever she goes. She is thankful to serve the next generation and call Redeemer church her home!
Brad MacEachern
Office Manager
Brad has been attending and serving in Redeemer Alliance Church since his first arrival in Ottawa in 2005, except for a three-year period he and his family were in England. In that time, he has been serving in life group leadership, missions, worship (sound, video, and livestreaming), facilities upkeep, and as a member of the Board of Elders. Retired from the Royal Canadian Navy, but still working as a public servant in DND, he volunteers as much time as possible to help build administrative and support structures at Redeemer that free the staff to focus on ministry rather than administration.
